My training
I received my Psychology Bachelor’s Degree from Johns Hopkins University and my Clinical Psychology Doctorate from American University. As part of my doctoral training, I completed a pre-doctoral internship at Catholic University. I also completed a number of externships, including at Georgetown University, Greenbelt Cares, and the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences.
After I received my doctorate, I worked as the sexual trauma specialist at Georgetown University. In 2012, I joined a Washingtonian Top-Rated psychiatry practice. There, I treated clients with a range of presenting concerns and often consulted with a team of clinicians.
I am actively engaged in my own growth and education as a psychologist. I’ve completed a two-year advanced training program in group psychotherapy and a one-year supervision program from the Washington School of Psychiatry. I am currently participating in an Existential Therapy Workshop that examines the marriage between psychotherapy and existential philosophy.
